Remote maintenance by Primion with Splashtop
With Splashtop, you can share your screen for remote control by Primion Technology GmbH support – even across firewalls. All you need to do is start a small program that requires no installation and no admin rights.
And this is how it works:
- Click on the green text “Splashtop SOS for Windows” or “Splashtop SOS for macOS” at the bottom of the gray field.
- Confirm that you want to run or save the application “SplashtopPrimionSOS_Win_v3.7.0.1_SD.exe” or “SplashtopPrimionSOS_Mac_v3.7.0.1_SD.dmg” (the version number may change). Depending on your settings, you may also need to open your download folder and click on the file.
- After a few seconds, a nine-digit code will be displayed. Now tell us this code. We can then establish a connection to your computer and process your request.
Consulting codex for the use of Splashtop software
Remote maintenance is carried out at the express request of the customer. The customer can choose one of the two forms of consultation:
- Enabling access to the customer’s own PC (the advisor can provide assistance on the customer’s PC while the customer monitors and cancels access). This type of consultation is preset.
- Showing their own screen (the customer shows their screen content to the advisor).
