The Challenge
In the aftermath of the 2015 Paris attacks, The British School of Brussels (BSB) faced the complex challenge of enhancing campus security without compromising its open and welcoming atmosphere. Located in the serene, green surroundings of Tervuren, BSB provides education to 1,350 students from 70 nationalities across its Early Childhood Centre, Primary School, and Secondary School. Many of these students are children of expatriates or diplomats, making them potential “soft targets.”
The school needed an effective, efficient, and minimally intrusive solution to safeguard students, staff, and visitors while maintaining its ethos of fostering a carefree yet secure learning environment.
The Solution
