Primion Technology GmbH acquires primion AG Switzerland

Strategic full integration strengthens market presence in Switzerland and creates new growth opportunities

Primion Technology GmbH, headquartered in Germany, announces the acquisition of all shares in primion AG, based in Tuggen, Canton Schwyz. This move places the long-standing close collaboration within the Primion Group on a new, consolidated foundation. 

Two strong partners now under one roof 

primion AG was founded on 31 January 2002 to bring the solutions of the Primion Group closer to customers in Switzerland. Since then, the company has operated as an independent provider in the fields of access control, time and attendance management, visitor management, and security management, with a clear focus on the Swiss market and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Through its owner-managed, personalised approach, primion AG has built a strong regional presence and established itself as a trusted partner for companies of all sizes and across a wide range of industries. 

Strategically sound and operationally immediate 

The acquisition follows a clear strategic logic: Primion Technology GmbH is purposefully expanding its market position in Switzerland, strengthening the existing customer relationships of primion AG in the region while targeting larger enterprise customers at the same time.

The local expertise and established customer relationships of primion AG are fully preserved and complemented by access to the complete product portfolio of Primion Technology GmbH, shared development resources enabling faster innovation cycles, and centralised marketing for a unified and impactful market presence. In addition, all specialist departments of Primion Technology GmbH are now available to the Swiss team, from sales and technical support through to central internal services.
